Jehovah's Witnesses
[edit]Consider using the following as sources (beyond my book collection)
- God's things and Caesar's: Jehovah's Witnesses and political neutrality
- Internment camps
- Jehovah's Witnesses as Un-Americans? Scriptural Injunctions, Civil Liberties, and Patriotism
- Jehovah's Witnesses and the Empire of the Sun: A Clash of Faith and Religion During World War II
- The Faithful Do Not Yield: Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nazi Camps
- Disciplined Litigation, Vigilant Litigation, and Deformation: Dramatic Organization Change in Jehovah's Witnesses
General thoughts:
- Expand the eschatology section with content about the overlapping generations teaching/prophetic dream about the Anglo-American empire in a way that makes the complicated theology somewhat understandable to a layperson
- Add an LGBT issues section?
- The government interactions section could be much more fleshed out, specifically regarding their history in the United States.
- Add content about 1975 in further development and why Watchtower publications "build up hope" (this phrasing should probably be removed as it's jargony). Also explain the concept of "new light" and older JW publications being destroyed if they're "old light".

Common newbie questions
[edit]- How do I create an article?
- Well, Wikipedia has notability standards, so some subjects are more viable than others. This guide explains things in more detail, but the gist is that you want to provide three reliable sources that cover the subject in detail. There's additional criteria if you're writing about a business or organization. I'll leave some helpful links on your talk page and feel free to ask me any questions if you have them.
Drafts
[edit]Not ready
[edit]- Draft:Chaput v Romain – read my book about JW legal cases in Canada because it's probably mentioned there
- Draft:Dangerous dog – not very fleshed out yet, see talk for suggestions
- Draft:Prince Albert School Study – wait to see if more sources become available because it seems to be mostly just be CBC reporting for now
