Hi Aoife. Can you please do the following?
  1. Go to the Google Books page for Barker (2003) (here)
  2. Copy the URL.
  3. Paste the URL into here where it says "Google Books URL" and hit "Load"
Near the bottom of the page you will find some text beginning <ref= and ending </ref>. Copy it and replace "(Barker 2003. p215.)" below with that new text.

It must be noted however that panic attacks cannot be predicted, therefore an individual may become stressed, anxious, or worried wondering when the next panic attack will occur (Barker 2003, p.215.)

  1. Go to the Google Books page for Gelder (2005) (here)
  2. Copy the URL.
  3. Paste the URL into here where it says "Google Books URL" and hit "Load"
Near the bottom of the page you will find some text beginning <ref= and ending </ref>. Copy it and replace "(Gelder 2005 p.213.)" below with that new text.

It is believed that men are mostly affected by GID. In order to feel more like a woman, transsexual men will part-take in certain procedures, for example, increasing their breast size, replacing their penis with a fake vagina (Gelder 2005 p.213.)

Also, please copy to here the exact text from the textbooks that you are using. I want to compare what you are writing with how it is written in the books. Anthony (talk) 05:53, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Hi Aoife
Your formatting in those contributions was fine, except that you don't need to include (author, date) because that information is in the reference.
The edit to Panic attack was fine and a good contribution to the article. Your contribution to Alzheimer's disease was reverted because the article already contained that information. Your Gender identity disorder contribution was deleted, because another editor didn't like it. If you want, you can go to the article's talk page and begin an argument with them about why your contribution should remain. But I've just checked their contributions history and they do a lot of editing in this subject area, so you might up against an opponent who is more knowledgeable and more committed to the subject than you. Your choice.
You're doing good here. If you want to continue, I'll make sure I respond promptly in future: but you must notify me on my talk page! :) If you post your contributions here first (with citations) I can tweak them so they're more likely to stick. Anthony (talk) 13:45, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
