Hi! My name is Charlotte. I honestly can't believe C + my last name was taken as a username!

I studied Environmental Sciences and I am interested in global agricultural issues, food/social justice, and development/poverty/indigenous issues. I work with a non-profit that does sustainable agriculture and agricultural education work.

I previously took a student-run DeCal class called The Politics of Digital Piracy which introduced me to Wikipedia editing. I have gone to a few edit-a-thon events since then in the Bay Area, but have not engaged with editing much further than that!

I would like to get started on working on mountains and areas in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. My dad has a wealth of knowledge on the Sierra Nevadas, as well as many books on it, and it would be great to get his knowledge and references onto Wikipedia

Oh my god, I just looked at the food security article and it needs so much help. I'm quite interested in food justice and sustainable agriculture, and it would be great to help improve articles in a subject I have become very passionate about. I would like to expand/create pages on food justice organizations as well, working from the Bay Area and maybe expanding further.
