INTRODUCTION: Citizen Society was the “materialization of decades-old dream” of the founder, Late Muhammad Ashraf Gondal, which became a reality in 1997. Citizen Society was conceived as a welfare organization whose main focus was to support poor and deserving people of the area.
Citizen Society aims to reconstruct social and moral values through welfare initiatives which will create better standards of living for people and augment their potential for growth through personal and professional development. CSK wishes to participate in or initiate projects that will create better opportunities for people to groom their skills and expand their horizons in their chosen interests for the betterment of themselves, their families, their communities, their countries, and the world. Although CSK is primarily a welfare services orientated philanthropic concern, it does (when the need arises) donate funds for people in-need of immediate help to alleviate human suffering. The Foundation is a Pakistan-centric enterprise; however, its Senior Management believes in equal opportunity for all irrespective of race, creed, religion, ethnicity, nationality, and gender. The Senior Management uphold integrity, honesty and legal and ethical standards as a requisite in all their dealings.
