Hello World

1. Objective I propose to edit the Wikipedia page on the Theory of Religious Economy.
2. Interest I really find this topic interesting because of all the current media attention with various religious groups such as the Westboro Baptist Church and their campaigns against America. I also find it interesting how various religious groups have higher agendas then actually spreading the word of their God, such as seeking financial benefits. I want to focus on the sociological aspects of this and how our future can possibly be effected.
3. Background reading I will read Wikipedia, the text book and other basic sociology sources on such topics: Rational Choice Theory, Contextual Effect, ect.. (most of the topics discussed on the current wikipedia page)
   1. Also I plan to do internet research as best I can on various religious groups such as for example the Westboro Baptist Church.
   2. Other sources of my information can come from personal friends of varying religions to find out more about how these religions are run and more information from a personal perspective as how the participant of the religion is affected.
4. General Plan I plan to do the majority of my research on secularization and to make edits or revisions to the wikipedia page on the Theory of Religious Economy.
5. Collaborators I will be working alone.
