My name is Christopher Allen, and I am best known as co-author of the IETF TLS 1.0 RFC 2246, that defines the https protocol.

I am an lifetime entrepreneur focused on opportunities in social software, online trust and online communities, and teach "Using the Social Web for Social Change" and "Digital Influence" in the MBA in Sustainable Systems at BGI.edu.

My professional blog is Life With Alacrity where I write about topics including entrepreneuring, the social web, social media, social software, blogging, groupware, collaboration, group dynamics, rating & ranking systems, online communities, facilitation, internet security, trust, privacy, iphone development, interface design, online game design, and internet tools.

I am also owner/publisher of RPG.net, publisher of a number of iPhone and iPad games, as well as designer of several board and card games (to be published), and am currently working on the comic book Touched.
