I'm not currently very involved with wikipedia, or self-publishing information. I'm interested in Freedom, Openness, Ethics, Understanding, Software, etc. Unsurprisingly I like FOSS - and at the time of writing, have a moderate sized Beard.
One of my more popular projects is Wheelz, with a few million downloads of the free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chozabu.android.BikeGame&hl=en An interesting fact about Wheelz - is that my sales doubled when I uploaded it to demonoid(A popular torrent site, now closed by American authority).
Another game (never quite finished/released) is Neinjarz: http://www.pygame.org/project-Neinjarz-586-.html https://github.com/chozabu/Neinjarz
I have often started working on a new game, after researching carefully to make sure it does not exist - only to find some distance into development someone else releases something very similar, having obviously thought of and started imlementing such a similar idea before me. The fact I alone have independently "invented" some "IP" at a very similar time to other people helps concrete my opinion that ideas are not so much a product of an individual, but of a culture. It has been mentioned to me that it is odd I bash the concept of "IP" as that is how I make much of my money. This is infact another point against IP - I am able to make a disproportionately large amount of money for relatively little work - and am in a position to explain that I deserve this money much less than many people who work much harder on more necessary jobs. This thankfully gives me more time to work on projects for social good.
Though I enjoy building, and sometimes playing video games - functional utility software is much more important. One of my current missions is to build (or hopefully help build) a functioning distributed liquid democracy.
I hope one day, someone would like to write a wikipedia article about me/Chozabu (I created a stub, but it was instantly removed) If that someone is you - make it here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Chozabu
