Along with PTSD, depression and anxiety are identified as one of the most common mental health conditions following traumatic experiences.[1] Early identification of mental health problems can promote better patient outcome.[2]
Trauma survivors often develop depression, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders in addition to PTSD.[3]
