The 2857th Test Squadron was a United States Air Force unit.

The 2875th Test Squadron was activated on February 1, 1961 and posted at Olmsted Air Force Base until 1967 when it relocated to Dover Air Force Base and was deactivated August 15.

A search and rescue unit, it was primarily tasked with executing the "Outpost Mission", an operations plan related to the rescue of the President of the United States from the White House in the event an attack against Washington, D.C. resulted in normal exfiltration from the building becoming impractical or impossible due to structural damage to the facility.
