Charles F Ross is my Grandfather's name. My family is from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee but I was raised in Italy and in various parts of the United States and speak both English and Italian equally well. I studied Japanese and Spanish at the University of Missouri and earned degrees in Anthropology and International Studies. My primary interests are in American History in terms of First Nations peoples and religious movements, preservation of endangered languages, preservation of human rights in modern times, medieval literature and religious texts, Japanese performing arts like Bunraku and Kabuki as well as martial arts (primarily ITF TKD, Shotokan and Aikido).

I spend more energy glossing articles for internal consistency and accuracy, and occasional editings, but I prefer enhancing articles by drawing information from Wikipedia's other languages.
