Hello, welcome to my user page! Not much to say here other than I love Nature. My passion is to help others enjoy the natural communities near their own homes, be it chaparral, sage scrub, desert, forest, or the seashore. I work for the California Chaparral Institute.

I was pretty active on Wikipedia circa 2005. I've returned in 2020 to continue helping people better understand chaparral, California's most extensive ecosystem.
