Week 7: Adding to an Article

I chose the article: Midwifery in the Middle Ages

Although this article mainly focuses on midwifery in the middle ages, I would contribute by briefly adding information about the profession in today's society. I think a quick comparison of the two time periods, plus a small amount of information of its journey between the two time periods, would be beneficially to a reader. This article was interesting because it included questions regarding witchcraft.

Article Evaluation:

I chose the article: Elizabeth Garrett Anderson

This article outlined the life of Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, the first women to qualify in Britain as a physician and surgeon. Everything in this article seemed relevant to the discussion of Anderson's life. Personally, I would have like to have more information regarding her medical career. This article covered programs she started and honors she received, however, there was only a small amount of information regarding her practice of medicine. All in all, the article is neutral.

After checking a few citations within the article, the links worked well and the sources cited do support the content written in the article.
