Cat O'Connor is a British Piano-Pop Singer-Songwriter, born 5 August 1988 in Reading, Berkshire. She was brought up in Ascot, and attended school in Sunningdale and Crowthorne, until pursuing her Gap Year from September 2006 - August 2007. Being undecided on her path, she worked for coffee companies and played a multitude of live shows over the UK. In the Summer of 2007, Cat flew to Africa to volunteer her help in an African orphanage, run by the charity 'Right to Dream'.

She then attended Exeter University for a year, where she was a music scholar, studying Psychology. Having realised that it was not what she wanted for herself, she applied to The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where she is currently studying to further her career.
