AdventHealth Lakeland is a planned non-profit hospital in Lakeland, Florida, United States by AdventHealth.
History
[edit]On September 7, 2017, Adventist Health System purchased 103 acres in Lakeland, Florida for $14.5 million for a hospital. The property is by Interstate 4 and west of Florida Polytechnic University.[1][2][3]
On August 30, 2024, AdventHealth announced that it wanted to build a 10-story, 720-square-foot hospital with 400-beds. The 200 acre hospital campus will also have free-standing emergency department, a 200,000-square-foot medical office building, heliport, parking garage, rehabilitation building, commercial/retail space and 250 apartment flat.[4][5]
