Carlos Valdes-Dapena, MSOD, is a keynote speaker, author and organizational development professional.  He is the managing principal of Corporate Collaboration Resources, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in team collaboration.  Carlos’ books include “Resilience: Virtual Teams: Holding the Center When You Can’t Meet Face to Face” and “Lessons From Mars: How One Global Team Cracked the Code On High Performance Collaboration and Teamwork”. Carlos worked at Mars, Inc for 17 years where he developed a framework for high performance team collaboration, outlined in both his books.  Prior to Mars, Inc, Carlos was an internal executive coach for the top 35 executives who reported to Lou Gerstner at IBM in Armonk, NY.  Carlos also has a degree in MSOD from American University, and an MFA from the Florida State University.  His undergraduate studies earned him a summa cum laude BA degree from University of Miami. He is the sixth of eleven children, and the son of the celebrated pediatric pathologist, Dr. Marie Valdes-Dapena, who wrote the first paper on SIDS. His brother, Peter, reviews cars for CNN. Carlos is located in New Jersey, and travels the world for speaking engagements and consulting to his clients like J&J; Maersck; Mars, Inc; and the World Cocoa Foundation on team development and collaboration.
