Carl R. Payne II (born March 4, 1970) is an American actor. He has been expressed as an innate performer in both Nollywood film and Independent Hollywood film.

Carl R. Payne II has always been into acting in one form or another from an early age. He performed in church (Heights Providing C.O.G.I.C) as well as in High School as a thespian at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, TX where he and a fellow thespian Mary Smith won the State Championship of High School Theatre Arts in 1986.

In the summer of 2012, Carl Payne was asked if he would like to audition for a role in an upcoming Nollywood movie project in Dallas, TX. The producer recognized his amazing talent and Carl Payne was awarded the role as "The Don" in the movie The Stolen Fruit (2013), a movie produced by Kizzie Uzoma Ike). Word of mouth spread of his outstanding acting and it wasn't long before he was able to add to his resume.
