The first single by The Canavar Orchestra, "Another Day", features the title track plus the B-side "Iskender in Eskişehir". "Another Day" features the groups sound at it's most bare and simplistic nature. Meanwhile, "Iskender in Eskişehir" mixes scales from the Middle East over a heavy percussion section. The two songs were written in early 2009.

"King of the Congo" represents The Canavar Orchestra's want to explore new sounds. Written in April 2009 after hearing just one song by famed Congolese jazz guitarist Franco, Canbek Alakay set out on creating as powerful a track as Franco. Based off Franco's "Kinshasa Mboka Ya Makambo", "King of the Congo" relies on the vocal as it's most prominent instrument. On the flip-side, "Chanson D'Amour" features a more restricted, but still experimental, sound. Influenced by Brigitte Fontaine and Françoise Hardy, the track was written in a single day in May 2009.
