• Although this template must be substituted in the user talk page, it has also been designed to display properly when substitution is not possible.

Usage

Place this template on the user talk page (not the user page) of blocked editor. All parameters are optional, except if you are blocking a sockpuppeteer, in which case |masterblock=yes must be included.

• Omitting |masterblock=yes will tailor the wording for a sockpuppet and also state that the block is indefinite (unless overridden with |time=.
• For long term disruptive sockpuppets or established users include |guidance=no which will remove "Multiple accounts are allowed ... deleted without discussion".
• |confirmed=yes parameter should always be omitted unless a CheckUser has confirmed the sockpuppetry.
• |reason= will override mention of sockpuppetry being the reason, but keep the guidance parameter (which can be removed independently, see above).
