In 2006, following the break up of Anti-Flag's A-F Records' artist Pipedown [1]and Stockton, CA based punk rock favorite Beyond Your Eyes[2], singer/songwriter Ean Elliot (also known as Ean Clevenger was a 2 year vocalist/bassist for Silage (band), and lead vocalist of Pipedown and current singer of Number Station) started the Sacramento based Dance For Destruction. D4D recorded five songs at The Compound studio in Santa Cruz under the direction of famed vocalist Fury 66 Joe Clements[3] and had them mastered by engineer Andy Ernst (famous for his work with bands like Green Day and AFI) in 2007. After returning from their first west to east U.S. tour[4], and after a series of regional shows, Dance For Destruction signed recording contract with Lorelei Records. At the same time vocalist Rikki B. won the 2008 Sacramento Area Music Award [5] For Most Outstanding Female Vocalist. In 2009 Dance For Destruction entered the studio to record their first LP. The band was aided by Joe Clements of Fury 66, and Jesse Luscious of Blatz (band), The Frisk, and The Criminals whom performed vocals. With the completion and release of their full length "When Color Was Real, Dance For Destruction has made plans to
