Caleb Andrew Hardy (born July 10, 1991 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American professional basketball player. He was raised in the small western Kentucky town of Cunningham, which is part of Carlisle County. Carlisle County has a lot of deep roots with basketball and is a place very fond of basketball and their team. It was here that he grew to love the game of basketball and the place that molded him into the player and person he is today. At Carlisle County High School Hardy was awarded Purchase Player of the year his Junior and Senior season, which has very rarely happened in the history of the award. After playing for Derek Smith All Stars, a very prestigious AAU team, before going into his Senior year and averaging nearly 30 points and 12 rebounds his senior season Hardy decided a NAIA D1 school named Bethel University out of Mckenzie, Tennessee was the place he would continue his college basketball career.
While at Bethel, Hardy was a three-year starter for the Wildcats at small forward. Through individual workouts and learning more about the game, Hardy began to make strides in his career his Sophomore season. Although voted the all conference freshman team his freshman year, by his sophomore year he was voted a part of the second team transouth conference. By his Junior year Hardy was named runner up as player of the year in the transouth and was a part of first team all conference, as well as being named to the NAIA All-American Honorable mention list. His senior season he faced a nagging injury two games in that forced him to redshirt. During this time he was able to improve as a player and develop himself more. His final season as a Wildcat was by far the best for Hardy and the Bethel University Men's basketball team. The Wildcats made their first ever NAIA D1 national tournament appearance finishing with a record of 23-10. Hardy finished his Senior season averaging 20 points shooting 53% and averaged 7.5 rebounds. He was the fifth leading scorer in the NAIA his Senior season. During the 2014-2015 season, Hardy scored 20 plus points in 18 of 33 games, and was also named to the SSAC all conference First team, the third year in a row that he made an all conference team.
Hardy finished his college career with 1,804 points, which currently ranks 9th all-time at Bethel. Langhi ranks eleventh all-time in total rebounds at Bethel with 790. He capped his senior season by being selected to be a part of the NAIA All-Stars game, and was voted a part of The NAIA Second team All- American.
Hardy currently is in his first year playing Professional basketball in Spain for Plasencia Extremadura in the EBA league. His agent is David Gonzalez with Free Agency Basketball
