Raphaella Prange, born September 25 is an educator, advocate, innovator, and mother. Born and raised in Florida from the Boca Raton area.

Education

Raphaella earned her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Interpersonal Communication from DePauw University (Greencastle, IN) and her Master's of Science Degree in Student Affairs Administration from Indiana State University (Terre Haute, IN).

Work

Raphaella Prange has over 18 years of experience in Higher Education. Raphaella began her career in Student Affairs at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Terre Haute, IN) https://www.rose-hulman.edu working in student activities and residence life. She later moved on to Millikin https://millikin.edu in 1999 to serve as the Assistant Director of Student Programs. Since her employment at Millikin, Raphaella has served in a number of capacities to include positions in Student Programs, Greek Life, Residence Life, and Student Development. She has also taught in the Millikin Program for Student Learning. Raphaella currently serves as the Dean of Student Development, a position she has held since 2011. Raphaella has led many initiatives at the University to include New Student Orientation, Retention Strategy, Student Conduct System, and Title IX initiatives.

           More recently, Millikin University President Dr. Patrick White appointed Raphaella Prange Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Student Development at Millikin. University President, Dr. Patrick White, said in an interview, "Raphaella Prange has proven to be an outstanding leader at Millikin University while establishing an exceptional record in student affairs. Her ability to connect with students and her commitment to fostering student independence and maturity has contributed to Millikin's Performance Learning in all aspects of student life. Her direct experiences with Title IX, retention, diversity and inclusion also make her an invaluable member of our campus community. Her new leadership prominence will enhance her good influence on the Millikin experience and student success."

Community

            Raphaella is a City Limitless Ambassador for Decatur and Macon County https://www.facebook.com/DecaturPLTI/. Manages Parent Leadership Training in Macon County, a community organization for equal representation in decision making for children’s education.
