Synopsis:  A little mouse named Owen has a special attachment with his yellow fuzzy baby blanket (the cover art shows the little mouse dragging a yellow blanket along the grass).  His parents try to separate Owen from the blanket before school starts.  Their effort is greatly encouraged by the advice of their nosy neighbor, Mrs. Tweezers who voluntarily offers up a few suggestions of how to get Owen to give up the blanket.  Owen’s parents try all of her suggestions to no avail.  In the end Owen’s mother comes up with a solution from the heart provoked by her son’s sobbing over the blanket making it into handkerchiefs.
