Main characters

[edit]

Barry Allen / Flash

[edit]
  • According to Grant Gustin, Barry spent his time in the speed force watching his life from start to end, and he'll have much better insight into himself. He'll also be a much lighter version of Barry in a much lighter season, a welcome reprieve from the darkness that has overtaken the show in recent years. Welcomed by both the audience and the actor. Gustin said Season 3 was hard on him, admitting that he sometimes went home and cried in the shower.[1]

Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man

[edit]
  • "There’s going to be a lot of conflict between them in terms of how to be a good guy. Ralph is hitting on everybody all the time. He’s brash and loud and doesn’t listen."[4]
  • His famed comic book love interest could appear on the show, but you’ll have to be patient. “We want to wait to get to know Ralph and exhaust Ralph where he is before he meets Sue,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. “Ralph and Sue are endgame, as the kids like to say, so you don’t want to bring her in too soon. But that’s definitely in our plan. Not for this year, but we’ll see.”[5]
