About Me[edit]
Hello! My name is Bri. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science and am currently pursuing a Master's of Social Work at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I also currently work in mental health private practice as an office manager and social work intern.
During my time in undergraduate school, I started editing Wiki due to my passion for learning, research and service to others and I am very excited to continue advancing my knowledge and research experience in my fields of study whilst pursuing a career in face-to-face interaction. Upon graduation from my undergraduate program, I received Highest Honors for my independent honors thesis titled Cultural and Linguistics Effects on Diagnostic Testing in Spanish-Speaking Latin America which highlighted my skills including Qualtrics coding, R coding, assessment scoring, assessment analysis and assessment translation.
My wikipedia editing is done in association with Helping Give Away Psychological Science organization (HGAPS), a 501(c)3 which was started in 2016 at UNC Chapel Hill and is the inaugural branch of HGAPS. HGAPS works to create and update Wikipedia pages for evidence-based psychological assessments and other educational and informational evidence-based resources for clinicians and the general public that are: (a) high in quality; (b) free; and (c) easily accessible.
