Background

[edit]

Entrepreneur with 22+ years of experience building real estate businesses and most recently entering into e-commerce. I work in the real estate sector on the Gold Coast, Australia as Director of Local Property Team[3] helping property investors build wealth through Australian real estate.

Recent contribution: Gold Coast, Queensland

Early Life and Education

[edit]

Born in Brisbane and grew up in North Queensland[4]. Attended several different schools in Brisbane[5] and Mackay[6] and pursued studies in business at Griffith University[7] as a mature-age student. However, quickly climbing the corporate ladder, I did not complete my formal business studies. Instead, I relied on, on-the-job training[8] to develop my business skills.

Career

[edit]

I am [9] a figure in the Australian real estate sector, playing an active role in luxury property sales, property management, housing development, market analysis, investment strategies, and business consulting. My contributions have shaped the local real estate landscape by setting record sales prices in various suburbs and leading and training highly successful agents within their respective markets.

Podcasting

[edit]

In 2024, I launched a podcast entitled "Luxury Home Insider,"[10] featuring co-hosts, including buyer agent Niro Thambipillay. This podcast addresses trends in the Australian property market[11], examines the factors driving growth, and provides insights into future projections. It is designed to serve as a valuable resource for investors, homebuyers, and industry professionals, thereby establishing itself as a credible authority within the property sector.

Entrepreneurship

[edit]

In addition to establishing a real estate enterprise, I have engaged in various other ventures, notably founding Bali Bya[12], an online marketplace designed to facilitate connections between global shoppers and Balinese artisans, craftsmen, and exporters.

Philosophy and Vision

[edit]

I champion sustainable development, the preservation of cultural heritage, and ethical business practices. My proactive vision emphasises the creation of long-term value for stakeholders, while actively fostering positive social and environmental impacts.

Personal Life

[edit]

I have been happily married to Hallie Hill since September 2006 and am the proud father of one son, Cooper Hill. I have a passion for travel, fitness, and architecture, that enriches my life and inspires my pursuits. Residing on the Gold Coast, Australia, I embrace opportunities to explore Bali[13] and Southeast Asia[14], further expanding my horizons and experiences.
