Evaluate an article
[edit]- Alaska Native Plant Society: User:SketchyPencil/VernaPratt
- Significant article, plus I like plant
Lead
[edit]Open sentence cleary describes topic. However, the rest of the lead does not introduce the article as currently written. I do think it would be a nice lead if the article only focus on Alaska Native Plant Society. I believe the lead is currently function as a overview of the whole topic instead of an intro to it.
Content
[edit]The article doesn't have a clear topic. It could be about Verna Pratt, the Alaska Native Plant Society, or about Alaska native plants. The sections don't relate very well to each other and the titles lead me to believe they are different topic entirely. This is especially unclear in the second section. How does the book relate to the Alaska Native Plant Society besides a former member publishing it? Did her time in the club impact the book or the club give edits/suggestions on the book? Additionally, the Alaska Plant Section has enough content to be its own article and doesn't fit well when focusing on the society.
Tone and Balance
[edit]The tone is neutral and does not appear to have any bias in article. 10/10
Sources and References
[edit]Sources were up to date and all links worked. 10/10
Organization
[edit]Some comma and capitalization errors. Additionally, some phrases need to be reworded but it is not heavily impacting the readability of the article.
The article struggles with organization.
