Robert Rufo is an American entrepreneur who currently consults on business issues with major corporations and writes on forward thinking business management issues.

Rufo previously served as an officer in the United State Marine Corps and was responsible for designing and implementing a downsized "forward deployed" supply support system called ATLAS that was first used in combat to support the Second Marine Division in the Gulf War. The system originally reduced all ground supply and storage functions to a small laptop and successfully reduced the ordering and shipment of material to deployed Marines from 45 days to 15 days. The system is also linked digitally with the Marine's deployed logistics system (MDSSII) to load and unload ships. The second generation of the system is currently used world wide on land, ships, and in all combat areas.

Rufo is a graduate of Salem State College (B.S.), and National University (M.B.A.).
