De'Qwanze

[edit]

De'Qwanze - To silence a group of people in a harsh way before an event of great importance.

Origin De'Qwanze is a term that was first used by the great Barbarian nations of the North. Usually before a great battle the leader of the army would yell "Dichänzen!". Instantly, the army would quiet themselves, awaiting the speech normally given before the engagement.

Use in French Language Later, during the French Revolution, citizens used it as a rallying cry while storming the bastille. They adopted the word "Dichänzen" from the old Germanic tribes of the North and put a French spin on it.
