This is not a conflict of interest, nor, as editor "JG66" states, is it a vanity issue. It is a veracity issue. The source the editor has chosen to reference did not quote me correctly, nor did the author(s) of that reference convey the most important part(s) of my relationship with George Harrison, an interview that took several hours. I'll let the Harrison reference go because I'm 80 years old and no longer give a damn about litigating that occurrence further. But I have deleted (several times) the quote by your editor specifically because I didn't describe our activities or impressions at the particular event in anything like the words editor "JG66" ascribes to me. If the editor wishes to have a statement he/she can use regarding that event, I am happy to provide an authorized version.
