I am a geomorphologist specialising in biogeomorphology, coastal dynamics and landforms, climate change adaptation and the science-policy-practice interface. Much of my research is applied and interdisciplinary - I work with 3D designers, engineers, ecologists and materials scientists on pure research questions and have collaborated with government bodies, engineering firms, consultancies and the ports and harbours sectors on applied research projects. I work in the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow.
