Bill Kerrey was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska.
After earning degrees in Economics (BSc), Spanish (BA) and Agronomy (MSc), he gained decades of experience in public policy, database technology, intellectual property licensing and environmental science.
Kerrey comes from a family of engineers, scientists and public policy officials. Fluent in Spanish with experience living outside the continental United States Kerrey has a special interest in global policy as it relates to micro and macro economics, public health and long term management of natural resources.
Kerrey calls Nebraska home where he restored and placed on the National Register of Historic Places (US Department of Interior) a 40 acre pioneer farm which is today committed to soil and wildlife conservation as well as rural life. Kerrey has spent numerous years working with the sciences focused on global food production, especially employing and evaluating sustainable methods of crop production and distribution.
Today Kerrey consults with companies in the food production and information businesses.
