John Glover was born in on Concord, Mass on June 10, 1962. The family repatriated to Canada, settling in Toronto in 1967.

Glover played rugby and football through high school, as well as captaining the ski team.

Graduating from Western University in Chemistry, followed by his MBA from Schulich, Glover embarked on a career in Capital Markets, reaching the position of Managing Director with both TD Securities and Barclays Capital.

In his spare time he fronted the Indie band Otto & the Pilots and then Ridin’ the Pine, playing through Toronto and southern Ontario.
