The speech's apparent goal is to secure black people's rights to freedom, equality, and justice while avoiding racial injustice based on skin color. Despite the fact that America's constitution guarantees equal rights to all citizens, black people have been denied such rights and have been victims of social segregation and discrimination. Martin Luther King Jr., as a result, Delivers a speech in which he calls for justice for African-Americans. An parallel (comparison) is drawn between the promises of the American constitution and a bad check by King. Despite the fact that the American constitution guarantees equal rights to all citizens regardless of race or creed, America has failed to provide equal rights to its black citizens. The authors of the American constitution have given them a bad check, i.e. false promises. If there is insufficient funds in the bank account, the higher-valued check written against this account is not enchased and is returned unpaid; this check is deemed a bad check. Similarly, despite the fact that the American constitution promises equality for all, black persons are denied access to justice in the United States. As a result, the king equates the American constitution's pledges to a bad check. =I was interested in the lifestyles of white and black Americans since we know that black Americans have yet to achieve equality and freedom, and they are denied certain privileges. and unequal perspectives, particularly in the areas of labor and education
