Young 618
  • Young 618 was born on June 25, 2002 in Carbondale, Illinois. He moved around a lot but he managed to find himself stuck in Benton, Illinois where he still lives. His real name is unknown but he goes by knick names such as Young 618, Lil 6, and 618. When he was a kid he had a passion for music, artists like Eazy E, Eminem, Hopsin, MC Ren, and Kendrick Lamar were a big influence on him and in 2017 he put his skill to the test. In April of 2017 he announced that he would be dropping an album called Temporary Insanity in June. But because of the lack of support and personal issues, he canceled the album. In July he dropped the track "Kobe" and gained over a hundred views on YouTube in a short period of time with no fans. He also dropped tracks like "No Peace" and "Shameless" shortly after but they didn't receive much feedback again so he decided to delete all of his tracks and start fresh. He dropped "My Squad" in early October and later that month he released "Crank It Up" "The Race (Remix)" and "On My Way" which turned into a Mixtape. The Mixtape was titled Mayday, and gained him some fans. The track "On My Way" quickly earned 618 a small but decent fanbase. Famous rappers like MC Ren and Bill $aber follow him on social media.
  • Young 618 is apart of the BSB, a group of orginized criminals in Benton, Illinois. BSB stands for Buchanan Street Boys because they hang out on Buchanan Street alot. Now a Benton gang too. 618 uses gangs a away of life, but music is his passion.[History 1]
