Benson Ochiel Ngiela is a Kenyan professional. He is a highly motivated and ambitious Programme, Finance, Administration, Grants Management and Compliance professional with a great experience in Programme Administration, Grants and Financial management specializing in management, performance and financial monitoring of implementing partners as well as ensuring programme compliance with Organizational policies and donor regulations. He is currently the Assistant Representative - Programme for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Uganda. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi in Kenya and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the same University. I am also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K). He previously worked with UNHCR in Juba South Sudan as a Senior Program Officer, in Damascus Syria as a Senior Administrative Officer and acted as Assistant Representative - Administration for six months as well as chairing the UN Operations Management Team (OMT) for one year, in Sana'a Yemen as a Project Control Officer, in Bor South Sudan as a Programme Admin/Finance Officer, in Kabul Afghanistan as a Project Control Officer, Mercy Corps in Liberia as a Sub awards and Compliance Manager in the USAID funded ECAP Project, Green Belt Movement in Kenya as a Project Grants Manager in the USG funded wPOWER Project, Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI) in a USAID funded TIS-Somalia Project as a Grants Manager, ACDI/VOCA in Kenya as a Subcontracts and Compliance Specialist in the USAID funded REGAL-AG Project, jhpiego in Kenya as a Grants Officer in the USAID funded APHIA-Plus KAMILI Project, LVCT Health in Kenya as a Grants Accountant in the CDC funded UNGANA Project and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) as a Compliance Officer in charge of Audit Quality Assurance.
