The objective of Little Kickers Fairfield classes is to providechildren with an entertaining opportunity to develop sporting skills, social andlife skills through participating in games that encourage learning through thenatural affinity of play. The children are encouraged to play games and usetheir imaginations, whilst running around and having lots of fun. The vastmajority of participants will not be aware that they are actively learning keyskills as they get involved in the classes, and it has been proven in numerousstudies (Fromberg & Gullo [1992], Frost [1992], Rogers & Sawyer[1988]), that children learn mosteffectively through active play. The Little Kickers programme has beendeveloped by professionals from a number of fields and, in addition to engagingchildren through fun and creative play, it also promotes the development of awide range of early learning skills.
