Bar Urakbaev[1] or Blake White (born 19 April 2004), better known as BLAKE[2], is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and YouTuber[3]. He is best known for his latest album "WHAT YOU AFRAID OFF[4]" which came out in April 19, 2023.

Career[edit]

When Urakbaev was 14 he learned how to produce songs and started to collaborate with local musicians who asked for his services until in April 2022 he turned 18 and decided he want to debut as an artist and abandon his local career. in his own words: "I Always wrote songs but my parents encouraged me to find a singer who will wants to sing them in exchange for money. but I had a really good friend who told me: I think you should sing those songs, after all you wrote them and no one else"

A few years after that he created his social identity, and released his first album: "WHAT YOU AFRAID OFF" followed by "WHAT YOU AFRAID OFF (Acoustic)" under the name BLAKE, a different identity he decided to create in order to learn and sharp his own musical identity as BarUrakbaev in order to create a unique sound that can relate only him.

These days Urakbaev working on his comeback improving his craft, writing and skills in order to sharp his musical identity. now performing under his original name.

Alter Egos[edit]

BarUrakbaev uses an alter ego in his songs. His alter ego, BLAKE, first appeared on his "WHAT YOU AFRAID OFF" debut album and was in his "WHAT YOU AFRAID OFF (Acoustic)" EP and in his single "Move On" . In this persona, his songs are less vulnerable, with a Self-disclosure approach. BarUrakbaev Decided to downplay BLAKE on "Time", "Time(Nightcore)" and "Talking To The Night" because he felt it did not fit the singles theme.

In his own words: "An alter ego can be thought of as a person's clone or second self. A professional alter ego might be a trusted aide who knows exactly what his main wants done. A personal alter ego might be similar to a close friend who is almost like a twin."

Currently while Urakbaev working on his comeback no one knows about his future plans for BLAKE
