I'm Baltro, a wiki editor since early 2008. I've spent the majority of my wiki editing on Wikia, where I've amassed over 11,000 edits over a half a dozen or so wikis, including some I started myself, such as World of Goo Wiki. I started wiki editing in my sophomore year of high school when my interest in certain video games took me beyond the games themselves.
My editing habits are similar to those of a WikiCat, WikiFairy, WikiGnome, and WikiOgre. Years back I marathoned 1,800 mainspace edits on a wiki over the course of just a couple weeks for the sake of obtaining administrator status, and subsequently fell off the map and went inactive for several years. I adore well-illustrated articles and can be very particular about image use on articles. When starting out on a new wiki I tend to be skittish and only look out for small grammatical errors and typos in articles. Once my confidence is up, however, I can be expected to take on sudden projects like large cleanups or new articles, but only intermittently.
My skills include fairly fluent usage of wiki markup, as well as advanced usage of HTML and some rudimentary CSS knowledge. When active, I've frequently dabbled in experimenting with templates, and their related subjects such as nesting or inclusion. I also enjoy talk page archiving and categorization.
My username is a direct reference to the character Baltro from the anime Zatch Bell!.
