An event which everyone wants to happen again and again… We are hence, taking this cultural extravaganza to it’s second edition in 2013, as a mixture of hope and reality, to repeat the 2010 success. We are looking into the prayers and cooperation of each and every individual of Arikulam panchayat, to make this endeavor a grant success. Drishyam 2010 was an astounding success by means of people participation, organizing skill and in terms of a diverse range of programmes showcased. Every stage caught attention by the gracious presence of cultural leaders, central, state ministers and local body representatives. The spellbound performance of ‘dullukunitha’, a traditional folk art form of Karnataka which made audience mesmerized, art forms from Tamilnadu, god’s own country’s own Kathakali, dazzling Jugalbandi, hundreds of thousands of people participated cultural procession…all were those most cherished moments which herald the message of inclusiveness of a historical place called Arikulam.
