Blair Benham-Pyle is a second year PhD candidate in Cancer Biology at Stanford University. She is a member of the W. James Nelson laboratory and is collaborating with the Beth Pruitt laboratory to investigate the role of strain in regulating epithelial tissue homeostasis. Before going to Stanford, Blair was a Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry Major at Yale University (Class of 2010). She was a member of the Scott Strobel and Michael Cappello Research groups and pursued a collaborative project analyzing the diversity and bioactivity of rainforest endophytes.

Before attending Yale, she lived with her parents in Woodbury, MN and graduated from Mounds Park Academy in 2006.
