The Bakonjo are mainly found in the Rwenzori region of Uganda. they are mainly found in districts of Kasese, Ntoroko and BUNDIBUGYO.

They speak Lukonjo as a mother lunguage.they mainly base in kasese

As a tribe in Uganda, it has cultural rituals for example the most delicious food is OBUNDU and its made with cassava
