Greetings! I'm a lifelong native St. Louisan and excited to be contributing to Wikipedia. I love local history and come from a family of authors, journalists and scientists. I initially created this account to do minor clean up articles pertaining to less-polished topics I'd occasionally run across in my research. As you can tell, I'm still learning, so please be kind if I make a mistake. In the future, I hope to help build articles on St. Louis history; St. Charles City-County Public Library so many fascinating items in its local history section, but much of it has, as of yet, escaped inclusion on any digital (let alone worldwide) medium like the Internet. I think that's a shame and hope to change it (when I get time -- I'm forced to wear a scarlet P on the front of my blouse for my sins of procrastination -- but don't worry, I'll work on that soon.)
