Background
[edit]Carrol Boyes, an alumni of Pretoria University, owns CaRRoL BoYeS (Pty) Ltd which is a wholesale manufacturer of upmarket homeware and tabletop items. It is a woman-owned-business and a multicultural organisation that supports gender empowerment both within and out of its infrastructure. CaRRoL BoYeS invests in its staff to ensure the future growth of the organisation and supports the community at a grass roots level.
Carrol holds a BA (Fine Art) Majoring in Sculpture and pursued her childhood dream of being an artist and designer after years of dedicated teaching.
Carrol’s love of and for South Africa is evident in her creative work.
Product characteristics
[edit]The CaRRoL BoYeS range are contemporary items for the kitchen and home made out of pewter, spun and cast aluminium, stainless steel, chrome plated zinc, wood, leather and ABS resin.
The range of products includes cutlery, hollowware, flatware, kitchenware, bathroom, desk and office accessories, bowls of all sizes, lamps, sculptural vases and furniture.
All products are handmade and finished off by a craftsperson.
These items are collectible. They are not trendy fashion items that are disposable after a season.
