This is the official page of novelist George Afara - Ashquelon; author of three novels and a brief Biblical research involving the forefathers of the Old Testament.

Descending two Christian families of Palestinian refugees from Haifa and Jaffa, the novelist was born on January 9, 1971 in Beirut and has always resided in Lebanon as part of the Lebanese people, carrying only his ancestral Palestinian nationality.

• His first novel, 'The Ashquelon Phenomenon' is a propositon of a new plan creating two Palestinian states: Islamic in the place of Jordan, retaining the Hashemite monarchy, and a Christian state west of the river, next to Israel, all three in a confederate system based on cooperation on virtually all levels.

The proposition is presented as part of an emotionally rich setting of a novel written between 1990 and 1999, and now almost entirely reviewed with certain fillings and adjustments applied. This novel remains in manuscript form, due to be registered in the US for copyright.

• The second novel is a ghost story set in Iceland, with the wonder whether a spirit can actually take visible form and manifest an ability to move solid objects. Also set in an emotional tale of grave injustice, this novel titled 'Terror at the Terminals' is a dedication to the memory of the author's mother who passed away in 1981 in a peculiar circumstance, and was reported to have appeared to a family friend temporarily residing at the family house in Warri, Nigeria a few days after her passing. Written in 2002/03, this novel was printed by Advocate House, Sarasota, Florida and registered under an official ISBN number. 'Copyright 2006, George Afara'.

• The third novel is a suspenseful romance resulting in a wide scale war against a white slaver in Ireland. Titled 'Morgana', the novel also remains in manuscript form since accomplishment in 2006, and is registered in the US under an official registration number. 'Copyright 2008, George Afara'.
