Born in Assam in an Akanda family, Ashadul Akanda completed his schooling in Barthal Doloigaon HS School and went on to study at the nowgong College,Nagaon where he obtained Bachelor of Vocational degree in Pharmaceutical chemistry and the University of Gauhati University from where he obtained Bachelor of science degree in Zoology. And went to study at the sarvapalli Radhakrishnan University degree in deploma in Pharmacy. Akanda was a Branch Head of the Akanda institution which was established as an E Max Education  in response to the Non-cooperation movement.
