Introduction

[edit]

My Name is Aaryan Farooqui. I'm 18 years old. I was born in Toronto, ON and lived there for 8 months. Then me and my family moved to Karachi, Pakistan and lived there for 12 years then moved to US. Now I currently reside in Bloomingdale, IL. I attended Lake park High School for four years and now. I'm attending College of Dupage and doing my bachelors in Business Management.

Interests

[edit]

There not many things that I have a interest in but sports is something that I'm crazy about. Basketball, Football, Soccer and Cricket are my favorite.

Cricket

[edit]

Cricket is the sport I have been playing for the longest time and watch this religiously. I have been playing since 6 years old and developed an interest due to it's huge popularity in Pakistan. And also played for my High School club competing with other teams.

Football

[edit]

I developed a interest in Football when I came to here and instantly became a fan and followed every Chicago Bears season. Never played competitive football.

Soccer
[edit]

I've been playing Soccer for the longest time and was attracted to it through my brother. Played soccer for my school in Pakistan and when I came here I couldn't play because our middle school didn't have a team. So when I went to high school and resumed playing soccer. My favorite team is Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo is my favorite player. Soccer was the first sport that made me interested in other sports.

Basketball
[edit]

Out of all the American sports Basketball is the one sport that's closest to my heart. I knew the game before coming here. I knew some players like Micheal Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Derrick Rose. So when I actually came here it was like a instant connect. Now I follow every game know stats and play at the gym I go to. Also Basketball taught me the lesson of life of not quitting. If your not blessed with the talent then work hard to achieve it as Kevin Durant once said that "Hard Work Beats Talent When Talent Fails To Work Hard"[1].
