Appearance
Arctic Night is on a "semi-wikibreak" and will be back to her full capacity sometime before 2011. |
The following are things that I must do in the near future:
- Find articles from Collections Canada, The Canadian Encyclopedia or the Canadian Dictionary of Biography to create
- Although it's best to use secondary sources, tertiary sources published by reliable corporate publishers are acceptable: see here.
- List of articles to work on Arctic Night 14:07, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Edwin Tillson - relative of Tillson Harrison. Arctic Night 10:05, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Resources
[edit]I hope to build this section into an area where I (or anyone else) can come to research subjects of articles which may not have significant Google coverage. Arctic Night 15:30, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Dictionary of Manitoba Biography - basic source for people from Manitoba
- Book on leaders of the Canadian Church - useful for bishop articles, etc.
- List of Local Histories of Alberta - most are available at nosracines.ca. Useful for Alberta hamlet/ghost town/town/city articles.
- Our Roots - a collection of Canadian local histories. This is an incredibly good resource, as often, the only sources available for some towns are a number of local histories which are not published elsewhere. This doesn't mean the article subject must be non-notable, as there may be several local histories on the subject.
