"It might be good for our citizens to recall (or learn for the first time) that the United States was the creation of men who believed that each man has the right to do what he wants with his own life as long as he does not interfere with his neighbor's pursuit of happiness (that his neighbor's idea of happiness is persecuting others does confuse matters a bit)." -Gore Vidal

My name is Collin Harding, age and zodiac sign a closely guarded secret. I am a Senior attending Illinois State University in Normal majoring in History with a minor in Political Science. Before coming to ISU in 2008, I was a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I graduated from Streamwood High School's World Languages and International Studies Academy, studying Japanese and attending the Illinois Capital Forum- where myself and a select group of high school students debated issues on the House Floor. After securing my degree in History, I hope to be the kind of history teacher that above all will teach his students to ask questions and think for themselves. I have no formal political party affiliations, although the best description for my political philosophy would mostly likely be Libertarian.

As a member Dr. Shamira Gelbman's Ambassador Course in U.S. Political Parties, I will do my best to be a fair, objective editor of political pages especially if said content might run contrary to my own personal beliefs.

Also, if you're curious about the odd moniker, it's name of a Greek actor turned teacher and agent for Alexander the Great's regent Antipater.
