The 83ème Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo is a motor racing event for rally cars, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco. The rally is the first round of the 2015 World Rally Championship season and is held between 19 and 25 January 2015.[1] The rally is based in Gap from Monday to Saturday and in Monte Carlo from Thursday to Sunday. This year's event includes the ceremonial start in Monte Carlo, special stages at night and Rally2 regulations.

[edit]The route of the rally features 15 stages with 356.16 kilometres of competitive distance.[1]
Before the rally
[edit]The event starts with reconnaissance from Monday to Wednesday, and continues with a 3.52 km shakedown stage in Wednesday afternoon.

Itinerary
[edit]The WRC season gets its official start in Thursday evening, when rally cars start from Place du Casino towards the first two special stages driven in the dark. First service and night break are in Gap.
Entry list
[edit]The entry list of the rally had overall 101 entries which was the biggest number in World Rally Championship since 2011 Rally Finland. 14 of the entries were World Rally Cars, 21 of them were competing in WRC-2, 11 in WRC-3 and 10 in Junior WRC.[2]
On the Thursday morning a total of 96 cars started the rally. Entries withdrawn are marked with a grey background.[3]
