Stephen M. Lyon

Stephen M. Lyon is the real name of user anthrosteve. He is Inaugural Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences and Professor of Anthropology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Aga Khan University. He has done research in Pakistan and Japan and specialises in conflict management, politics, kinship and cultural systems theory.

He was the Treasurer of the Pakistan Studies Group which hosted the annual [[1]] in the Lake District for more than 30 years.

He was the editor of History and Anthropology from 2009 until 2014 and a managing editor of Structure and Dynamics: eJournal of the Anthropological and Related Sciences.

He was the Editor-in-Chief of Social Science Computer Review from 2020 until 2023.
